Every year, Houck sponsors an Annual Holiday Card Contest and invites all young local artists to submit their designs. The winning designer will receive $1,000 towards their college fund that will not only be matched by a top realtor, but also managed one of the best wealth management firms in Los Angeles. We’ve also teamed up with a web design company that will create the winner a website/portfolio to showcase their work online.
Houck will provide these artists with themes centered around homes during the holidays. From there, they are free to let their imagination take over and create whatever inspires them. Winners will be formally announced at our Annual Holiday Card Gala and will be selected by a list of celebrity panelists. Additionally, the winning card creation will be showcased to all of our clients and their family during the holiday.
With this contest, we hope to bring the community together by helping each other support our young local artist all while having a fun time!

Artwork may be used in all media including online, print, on merchandise, and other visual collateral. All entries submitted will become the property of Houck’s Thanksgiving Card Contest. By submitting an entry, each artist agrees that any and all intellectual property right in the artwork are deemed assigned to Houck Inc.
Except where prohibited by law, an entry submission into this contest constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, likeness, prize information, and information provided on the entry form for publicity purposes without further permission or compensation.
The winner must submit a scalable vector version of the winning design so that it is adaptable to electronic and print media, to reproduction on small and large surfaces, and to use in color or in grayscale.
